I figured we could talk about anything at all on here. That was the spirit of the original Jolt. Even Tucker Carlson hasn’t gotten himself banned so far.

I’m tempted to roll my eyes, but I think “art and death and stuff” is actually pretty deep in a Yogi Berra kind of way. Reminds me of when I watched weeeeee.swf for the first time—that bizarre 2001 Flash animation about “gonads and strife”—and it hit me that every aspect of human culture and civilization, from the earliest mythologies to present-day blockbusters, is, in its most essential form, some mixture of gonads and strife.

This being SomethingAwful, I think it was more a matter of time than ability 🙂
